Daniel Vlček a Antonín Gazda
DANIEL VLČEK (*1978)
Malíř, hudebník a experimentátor. Absolvent Akademie výtvarných umění v Praze. Jeho umělecká praxe odráží osobní střet s technologií, projevující se v meditativním procesu opakovaného kreslení čar, podobnému hlubokému snění. Zpracovává fenomén zvuku, který vizualizuje v subjektivních obrazcích. Rozmazává časové hranice a nabízí simultánní reflexi minulosti, přítomnosti a budoucnosti. Je členem umělecké skupiny Guma Guar a spoluzakladatelem pražských galerií Berlínskej Model nebo galerie Ferdinanda Baumanna.

ANTONÍN GAZDA (*2001)
Experimentátor, edukátor, elektroinženýr, hudebník a také multimediální umělec. Vystudoval Fakultu elektrotechnickou ČVUT v Praze, kde založil projekt HLUCH. Je tváří Mňau Labs, součástí Noise Kitchen a působí v Petrohradské kolektiv. Zajímá se o propojení technologie a umění, vytváří svá vlastní audiovizuální zařízení, která mu umožňují lépe vyjádřit emoce a prolomit bariéru nedostupného. Také se zabývá využitím industriálních procesů jako kanvasu pro umění a vytvářením možností pro symbiózu umělce a technologie. Vystupuje také pod jménem Mňau.

DÍLO: META-AMULET (OBJEKT)
Redukcionisticko-futuristický objekt inspirovaný povídkou Franze Kafky Proměna představuje stylizovanou reprezentaci trilobita, která obsahuje jednoduchý elektrický obvod s baterií a dvěma LED světly. V práci se prolíná více rovin času, jednak symbolizuje hlubokou vrstvu času, kde zkamenělá hmota zachovává tvar prehistorického života, a zároveň tu, kdy živý organismus prošel svým transformačním putováním, jež se nyní projevuje jako „kámen“. Tato elegantní, symetrická reprezentace slouží jako alegorie původu života na Zemi a stává se nositelným amuletem, symbolizujícím metamorfózu – přechod od organického k anorganickému a od anorganického k elektrickému, od fosílií z minulosti k fosíliím budoucnosti.

Painter, musician and experimenter. Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. His artistic work reflects a personal encounter with technology, manifested in a meditative process of repeated line drawing resembling a deep dream. He works with the phenomenon of sound which he visualises in subjective patterns. He blurs the boundaries of time and offers a simultaneous reflection of the past, present and future. He is a member of the art group Guma Guar and co-founder of the Prague galleries BerlinModel and Ferdinand Baumann Gallery.

ANTONÍN GAZDA (*2001)
Experimenter, educator, electrical engineer, musician, and multimedia artist. He graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the Czech Technical University in Prague, where he founded the HLUCH project. He is the face of the Mňau Labs, part of the Noise Kitchen and works with the Petrohradská kolektiv. He is interested in combining technology and art, creating his own audiovisual devices that allow him to better express emotions and break the barrier of the inaccessible. Gazda is interested in using industrial processes as a conduit for his art, and creates opportunities for symbiosis between an artist and technology. He also performs under the name Mňau.

ARTWORK: META-AMULET (OBJECT)
Inspired by Franz Kafka’s short story The Metamorphosis, this reductionist-futurist object is a stylised representation of a trilobite containing a simple electrical circuit with a battery and two LED lights. The work intertwines multiple layers of time, symbolising both a deep layer in which fossilized matter retains the form of prehistoric life, and a layer in which a living organism has undergone a transformative journey and now manifests as a ‚stone‘. This elegant, symmetrical representation serves as an allegory for the origin of life on Earthand turns into a wearable amulet symbolising metamorphosis – the transition from organic to inorganic and from inorganic to electric, from fossils of the past to fossils of the future.
